Courvoisier

About Courvoisier 12 Year Old

Courvoisier 12 Year Old is a blend of extraordinary cognacs, each aged a minimum of 12 years and bottled at the peak of their potential. Those cognacs began as eaux-de-vie that were primarily selected from the Borderies cru, which tends to reveal their best floral and spice characters at 12 years old. Fins Bois and Grande Champagne grapes round out the blend with some underlying depth.

Nosing Courvoisier 12, you'll find floral aromas of violets and orange blossoms mingling with cloves, ginger and star anise, plus mild vanilla. And on the palate, look forward to flavors of almonds, raisins, and orange marmalade.

About Courvoisier Napoleon

Courvoisier Napoleon is a blend that was created to celebrate the relationship between the Courvoisier and Napoleon families. The cognac features matured eaux-de-vie from the Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne regions of Cognac, France, bottled at their peak.

Courvoisier Napoleon is full-bodied and easygoing, with distinct notes of sandalwood, dried apricots, and a forest floor quality akin to mushrooms—but in a good, welcome way.

About Courvoisier VSOP Exclusif

Courvoisier VSOP Exclusif combines brandies from different crus in the Cognac region, which results in a well-balanced cognac that's good on its own, but engineered for cocktails.

The vines produce round and smooth eaux de vie which, after distillation, develop complex aromas with rich spicy notes akin to ginger cookies. The charred oak casks provide sweet roasted flavors, including coffee. And deep, fruit flavors like dried plums emerge as those different crus marry and mature.

So all in all, you've got a flavorful and aromatic cognac on your hands. Or, ideally, in your glass.

About Courvoisier VSOP

Courvoisier VSOP is comprised of grapes from the Grande and Petite Champagne regions, as well as Fins Bois, the latter of which brings a floral and fruity character to the cognac.

Courvoisier VSOP is characterized by flavors of luscious peach, toasted almonds, and jasmine. It's smooth and easy-drinking, with a nice balance of oak, fruit, and florals that can be sipped neat, over ice, or mixed into cocktails.

VSOP is a designation to denote that all brandies incorporated into the final product are aged for a minimum of four years in barrels, although the average age of the cognac might be significantly older than that. Courvoisier VSOP is one step above its younger brother, Courvoisier VS.
