About Seagram's 7 Crown Whiskey

Seagram's 7 Crown Whiskey (also known as Seagram's Seven) is a blended American whiskey that's most famous for its signature cocktail, the Seven and Seven. It's not a particularly complex whiskey, but it's affordable and designed for mixing. Seagram's 7 is a mainstay in bars around the world, and does well in all kinds of highball cocktails.

Seagram's 7 was most popular in the latter half of the 20th century, particularly the 1970s, but has steadily declined ever since as other spirits have flourished. But it's cheap, decent, and known by every bartender you'll come across, so regardless, it has remained a staple behind the bar, in stores and in drinking culture.

About Seagram's Extra Dry Gin

With notes of pine, citrus, and juniper, Seagram's Extra Dry is a fairly standard distilled gin. It's a good deal for the price (about $12 for a 750ml bottle) and will do in a pinch, but might do better in a Negroni or a Gin and Tonic than something more spirit-forward like a Martini or Pink Gin.

About Seagram's Distillers Reserve Gin

Seagram's Distiller's Reserve is an aged gin, and it has a smooth, dry, piney profile. It's not aged as long as a lot of other aged gins (only about six months), so it's still fairly clear in color.
